Warped Tour...

Some of you have been asking about the Warped Tour. So here you go!! Check em' out!

Warped Tour with Pepper

The in 19 hour day we had yesterday 8 of the hours were in a car. I drive like an old lady which doesn't help. Anyways yesterday I was at the Vans Warped Tour in Ventura, CA. I had a blast shooting all the different band and what not. I was able to hang out with Pepper (pepperlive.com) The Coach threw me up on stage for a while during their set and I got some great images. Here one more to come soon. I'm off to the Shoreline Warp Tour for day two!

Mendocino CA

Today I went up to Mendocino with Missy, Dre, and Dede. I’ve been there once with my friend Mallory but I didn’t bring my camera. We walked around down town, and had lunch at a sandwich shop. They had a lot of stores that would be classified as “Mom” or “Girl” stores. There were a lot of galleries that I enjoyed. I had a fun time taking photos of the town while they shopped. Afterwards we drove along the coast and snapped a few photos. Anyways were back in Ukiah here’s a few photo.

Some of you know I'll be hanging out with Pepper for two of the Vans Warpped Tour this year in Ventura, & Shoreline, CA to take photos of them. I'm REALLY excited for Warpped Tour this year! I've never been so it should be a great time.

Seattle Sound Magazine!

I woke up today and checked my e-mail and received great news that I'll be having two of my images published in Seattle Sound Magazine in the June issue. The two images are of a band I worked with last month at the Knitting Factory called Cloud Cult. Check them out at www.cloudcult.com. Todays wedding with Dr. Dre.

I had the best time today shooting Mark and Shameka wedding at the Four Seasons in southern California. Here’s a image of Shameka with her older brother Dr. Dre (owner/founder of Aftermath Entertainment)moments before he walked her down the eisle. I’ll post the slide show soon, but it’s 1:10 in the morning and I need to get some rest.

Ratdog in Ventura, CA

Last Saturday Bob Weir from the Grateful Dead brought his band Ratdog to the Ventura Theater. It was so much fun to photograph someone that I've been listening to since I was a kid. I was invited to come early and shoot the sound check.

I meet a ton of great people. I even ran in Fast Ed and he had so many storys. Ed has been toured with the Dead since the start and didn't miss a show from 85-95. Anyways here's a few images...

I made two new amazing friends today! Glory who is awsome with make-up and Aimee Colomy who models with Sirena Model agency. We had a fun and laid back shoot in Santa Barbara. Here's my favorite image of the day. I'll post some more when I get some free time. Today is my friend Nicks 21st birthday, so I'm off to grab a few drinks with the gang!

Jupiter Images

Yesterday was awsome! I went down to Hollywood and was the second assistant on Jerry Tobias shoot for Jupiter Images.
There were two couple that modeled inside this old house built in the early 1930's in Hollywood. We were down there by 7AM and the day flew by. After the shoot a few of us headed over to a Mexican spot on Sunset. I had a great time and it was awsome to meet new people.

PA Talk...

Tonight again was a big night for compasion kids. The crew signed up a ton of childern. This is a such an amzing group of people. Craig and J.R. are really out there changing peoples lives and motiving them to get out there and do something! It's not only Craig and J.R. it's everyone that's is part of the tour. David the the driver has a system down, and is awsome at what he does. He make sure that everything get off the R.V. and set up in time for the events. After the talks he's running around signing people up answering qustions. Then packs it all up and fit all the junk back in the R.V.. Gets in the drivers sit and drives to the next city. While all that is going around there is Cilton whos is making the movie. This guy is going to need a months worth of sleep after the tour. He runs around with a huge camera all day. Then when everyone is sleeping he's backing up all the footage and then running is design company. Today I think he went on like 2 or 3 hours of sleep. Once again this group is out there making a difference in the world! Amzing! Check out the click from tonight.

Pittsburgh PA

We checked in the hotel, and are resting before tonights talk. Dave The Driver drove from Canton to Pittsburgh today. Then met up with Mike from a local church. From there we were off to help a organization that helps young women with un planed pregnancys. There J.R. and Craig sorted clothes for the kids. The next stop was the hospital and there the crew served lunch to the familys that were at the ICU waiting rooms. Then we headed down town Pittsburg were Craig and J.R. Chained themself to the pew on a street corner. We meet a guy who owns hot dog stands all over the city. Gave us lunch which was awsome! A few Pittsburgh news paper reporters and photographers came out and are did a store on them! Check back later tonight for more images. Ohio...

What's round on the outside and high in the middle Ohio baby. We're sitting around the hotel lobby at midnight chattin' it up with the whole crew. It was great to see everyone to night. Rob from www.gratecreative.com brought his fam down to Canton! We got some great images. Tonight the Starving Jesus guys reached there goal of signing up 500 compasion kids! Here's a few clicks from tonight.

The Format

WOW last night was the start of a crazy break!!! Nick 1 & 2, Christina, Missy, and my self went down to L.A. and checked out the Format. We had a blast! But what's up with the nine dollar drinks? Anyways I'm sitting at L.A. with my Dad getting ready to jump on a plan back to Cleveland for two days to vist Mom. Then I'll be catching up with the Starving Jesus tour again. Los Lonely Boys

Last Friday I was given a photo pass for the Los Lonely Boys at the Santa Barbara Bowl. I meet a bunch of news paper photogs they were all fun to talk with. All in all I had a great time. Here are the photos check em' out!

This week-end....

HEY! This week-end has been so laid back. I've been able to catch up on just about everything that I've been meaning to. Even watch a few movies. Also on Friday night we got together and put this small shoot together. Here's the images let me know what you think!

I had so much fun last week-end with Starving Jesus guys. I'm hoping back on tour with them for a whole week in Sept. Here's the dates if you live in one of the stop come on by! Best of all I get to go home for a few days and hang out with the family. They might even make it out to the PA date I'm stoke!

This weeks photo shoot..

Saturday a group of us when down to Henry's beach in Santa Barbara and tried replicate an American Eagle add. Here's a few images. Matt did a great job running around with the strobes. As far as my model I couldn't have asked for a better one. Great job guys you rock! I can't wait till this next weeks shoot!
